Australian Taxation Office (ATO) - Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status
The ACT Government Report into Philanthropy in the ACT found that in order to attract financial resources, having a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status was attractive. DGRs are funds or organisations that are entitled to receive tax deductible gifts. This means that donors can claim income tax deductions for gifts to DGRs in their income tax returns. To apply for DGR status see the Australian Tax Office website.

Beyond Bank Australia
The Beyond Bank Australia Foundation Ltd. raises and distributes charitable funds within the community, and was launched in August 2007. The trust manages two funds: The Community Gift Fund, which receives donations from members of the general public, together with voluntary contributions from Beyond Bank Australia employees; and the Community Support Fund, which is built up by contributions from Beyond Bank Australia's annual profit.
The Snow Foundation
The Snow Foundation was established by two brothers that were born and raised in the ACT and have a strong commitment to the community. The Snow Foundation aims to assist those who are most marginalised.
